Our crews use reliable, respected equipment, including Vermeer directional drilling rigs and the area’s only hydro-vac truck, to complete work safely while limiting surface disruption. When our work is complete, the site is left in the same or better condition as we found it

EXPANDING RURAL CONNECTIVITY
Precision Underground led a large-scale fiber expansion project bringing high-speed connectivity to rural communities including Elgin, Leith, Heil, and Carson.

- 126 miles of mainline fiber installed
- 4.5 miles of duct bored
- 50 residential service drops completed
- 4 communities connected
By strategically deploying plow, trenching, and boring methods, our team delivered efficient installation while maintaining clear coordination with engineering partners and stakeholders.
Result: Expanded fiber access to underserved areas, strengthening long-term rural infrastructure across South Grant County.

POWERING A NATIONAL LANDMARK
Precision Underground partnered with Roughrider Electric and Reservation Telephone to install critical underground power and telecommunications systems for the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

- 46,000+ feet of duct installed
- 16,465 feet of 500 MCM power cable installed
